PROCESS SERVICE AND LEGAL MESSENGER

Do you want your papers served by someone who studied just enough to pass the test, or would you prefer to use the company that literally wrote the book on Arizona process service?

Palmer Investigative Services handles service of process and legal messenger services anywhere in the world.  We are the most recognized authority on process serving in the State of Arizona.  Bob Palmer teaches process serving to other firms throughout Arizona and developed the Arizona Certified Process Server training program, the only process server training recognized by the Arizona Supreme Court.  Bob has testified as an expert on process serving issues and literally wrote the manual on how to serve process.

Statutory costs.  Arizona law (A.R.S. 11-445) calls for process service to be billed at $16.00 for each document served, per person, plus mileage of $2.40 per mile, one way, that the server necessarily travels, with a minimum mileage of $16.00.  There is an $8.00 charge for preparing the proof of service.  Price quotes are provided on any service.

Here is our approach.  Anything in Yavapai County, including those nearby areas that spill partially into other counties such as the Sedona area, Wickenburg and Black Canyon City are served directly out of our offices here in Prescott.  Most of the greater Prescott area services get at least two trips for one mileage.  Routine services are usually tried within 24 to 48 hours.  If our client requests a rush be put on any service, there is an extra charge for that.  We consider a rush to be a "do it now" or "do it today" type request.  Approximately every three to five days we make a run to the Verde Valley.  Services in the Verde Valley that can be served on our regular trip get a mileage break.  Verde services requiring a special trip pay full mileage from Prescott.  There are no price breaks to outlying areas like Bagdad, Seligman and Black Canyon City, as there is no volume in those areas.  They get charged full mileage.

Anything outside of Yavapai County but still inside Arizona will be forwarded to the closest available process server that experience has taught us we can trust.  We charge a small fee to forward services to other Arizona servers, and that includes toll calls, routine postage and shipping costs.  We do charge a rush fee, plus special shipping costs for any rush assignments.
